L.A.N.D. Survivorship Program
The Living A New Day, L.A.N.D. Survivorship Program is a guided program that helps individuals create positive outcomes for their future, by providing a step-by-step process, knowledge, and skills to thrive in a new normal after a cancer diagnosis. Our program empowers individuals not only to survive but also to thrive, by offering valuable resources and strategies to live sustainably after their diagnosis.

EMWA would not be successful without the incredible dedication of our volunteers. Each year, our volunteers join committees that help strengthen our goals—whether it’s gathering raffle prizes, creating beautiful baskets, selling tickets, or contributing their talents in marketing, social media, web design, or office organization. Every volunteer plays a vital role in managing the many details that keep EMWA running smoothly.
Success Stories
The facilitators are all cancer survivors. They know what it's like to go through the rigors of treatment and the after effects from those treatments from experience unlike groups I've attended, unless you have gone through cancer treatments.
What is really special about the support group is we have all become friends. When one of us is having a particular hard time physically and emotionally one of will either go sit with that person, maybe give them a hug or go into another room to talk privately and sometimes also to pray with or for that person that is going through a hard time.
Now that's what I call unconditional support and caring for one another!
